Chip For 01 Civic Ex


I HAVE A 01 CIVIC EX VTEC, AND WHAT A CHIP TO BUY. I HAVE GREDDY EVO, DC SPORTS 4-1 HEADER, AEM CAI, AND GOING TO GET PULLEYS AND CAMS. I DONT HAVE ENOUGH TO TURBO OR ANYTHING THAT EXPENSIVE, SO WHAT CHIP WOULD BE GOOD, OR WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU RECOMMEND. THANKS........ANYONE HAVE KAMINARI STUFF FOR SALE?!?!

personly a chip wont do ****! ur over spending money like that. You might want to go nitrous. I have a wet kit 50shot by NOS on my car and it works great i just got it on last friday. chips are cool but ull get like 7hp. you should read the nitrous forum first though it tells u everything u need to know. and dont buy JET chip ull get depending on ur model 7hp. i had it and took it off when i got nitrous.

after bolt ons the JEt chip is the best to get as long as you don't use nos or turbo. Once the chip is installed, it should be your last engine mod.

a v-tec controller will do little to nothing on our cars without some serious mods.

VAFC will be beneficial if you get a cam, or want to throw more fuel at nitrous. But useless for boltons.
