Question Headers: Stainless vs Ceramic...

Can someone please tell me what the advantages/disdvantages are for each? Why are stainless headers cheaper than ceramic, and is one better than the other? Thanks

Ceramic supposedly doesn't hold heat as much as stainless. they both will change colors but stainless will change colors more rapidly and you will hvae to polish it to keep it clean.

The point of the Ceramic is to hold the heat in. Thats what the coating is for.
Stainless looks pretty, but it also cracks a lot easier.

Whoa wait a minute...There's like different information in here

From all of my reading I thought stainless does not crack as easily but does not hold as much heat as ceramic. And because ceramic holds more heat it does not last as long as stainless steel. So imo stainless is better.. <is this information correct?!

Yeah actually now that I read it I'm confused as well I want a material that will last longer and not crack, something I thought ceramic was infamous for

... Anyone who knows solid facts?? I Always thought stainless was much stonger...its made out of T304 Stainless steel while ceramic headers are made out od 1010 Mild Steel

since when is ceramic more expensive?

anothing thing, why is this in tech? its needs to be moved to other products and parts...more ppl will look at it
