removing factory hood prop?

does anyone knw how to remove the factory hood prop, the metal rod that holds up the hood?

pull it out...i did it with my swap, it was just getting in the way. Seriously though, just pull on it some, and it will give way.

it is kinda snaked into the hole it is in, so just follow the bends. I had to remove it to put my hose sleeving over it. Not that hard, really.
