Rep Power: 0 i found an ECU programmer heheheh!!!
ok i email this guy about getting a chip for my car that will give me the best performance possible and i said my car is a 2001 civic LX this was his reply
I do not have any non v-tech at the moment....yes it will work though, no its
not venom ....if you wanna pay an extra 200 dollars for a name i can put a
sticker on it...lol this is the same chip they use to drag race cars it frees up
all ur governors (for top speed) , rev limiter, fuel flow, and temperature
regulation, HP increase depends on what mods you have already done you will get
5-10 on a stock car and the more mods you have means the better the chip will
do....
Justin
Call me if you need further info ...and good luck
ok so this is cool this kinda goes with the forum about govs. but if anyone wants the # let me know and he is in Southern California

Rep Power: 299 our ecu's are not as easy to play with as this guy seems to think. make sure he knows you have a 2001 and later civic non SI with the OBD2 ecu in it and see what he has to say. If he can still do it...(which I doubt) go for it and let us know the results.

Rep Power: 503 why the hell does everyone want to remove their speed govenor? So they can break the law even more? Just curious.
If this chip safely adds hp, however, I'm totally down.
I call not testing it in my car!
