between high and low... not over or under... if ur over u can seriously damage the engine.. too much oil and no where to go causes the oil to find a place to go... u could easily blow a gasket.

ahh yea go back to them... make them do it.. i think our cars take like what 3 1/2 or something.. check the manual.. but i cant believe they didnt know.. but honestly.. if some thing goes wrong with the engine cause of that... u can just blame it on them and a new engine.

If the dealer overfilled it then it's best to go back to them and have them drain it. Seeing as they're at fault you shouldn't have to pay anything anyways.

Plus, if the oil has already caused damage to the engine, then they are liable for it and it's easy to prove that it's they're fault. If you drain the oil yourself and later discover that the oil cause some sort of damage, it's harder to put the blame on them.

BTW... the car comes with a jack. Unless you threw yours away, you should have one.

when you do take it back to the dealer make 100% sure that they have it on paper that they screwed up cause sometimes they can be butts about stuff. also be ready to hear that you should use honda oil and not your own.
i only say these things cause I have major probles with my dealer, i think they hate me....

i beleive ur supposed to put 3.7 quarts of oil? i mean .3 extra quarts doesnt seem to do any harm. i have alwaysed pue 4 whole quarts in. and thats probably not evene xactly 4 entire quarts becuase its impossible to get every single drop.

i change my oil ever 3-5 K miles dependin on how much and how hard i drove between changes. NEVER HAD A SINGLE ENGINE PROBLEM

yea..1/3 of a quart will not harm your engine..youre probably just making that positive crank valve spit more oil back down into the engine..its not a big deal. i usually put all 4 quarts in, if you think about it, the amount of oil that your oil filter soaks up is probably that 1/3.
