okay so last week i was ready to install my vtec light. so im unscrewing the center console and i immediately run into a problem i cant get the damn center console off. im trying to get to the back of the cigarette lighter... who knows how to get to the back of the cigarette lighter, BTW i have a 2dr 2003 EX AUTO...
please any feedback would be appreciated...thanks

ok. the part around your ebrake pops off with a flathead. then there are two screws that you need to remove. remove the two clips on the outside of the center console towards the front, and the two screws on either side of the rear cupholder. unscrew your shiftknob. remove the center console. just pull forward on the cig lighter piece.

yo integ guess you still couldn't get it off, sorry i couldn't be of help, what i told you was how i remembered it. I got the vtec light on mine, it was cool when i first put it in to see where the vtec comes on and all, but now its just annoying and i put the light behind the dash so i can't see it anymore.

my car is still under warranty but now i kinnda want to put the vtec light in the middle airvents has n e one ever attempted it? BTW a vtec light install is in the DIY>electronic>vtec lights install

There are two screws holding the cig lighter piece in that you have to remove the center console to get to. Or at least pull in back.

i was just kidding... its really easy... i do it every once in a while, it shouldn't take you more than 10 minutes to undo everthing

to get the black pat by the eBrake off just open the little sliding door and pull on the divider, no screwdriver needed!
