Does anyone else have this problem? I just mounted a cold air intake and a front strut bar and they rub at the bend where the CAI tubing exits the throttle body. I was thinking of buying some colored vinyl tubing similar to what was included in the kit but of a larger diameter to fit over the strut bar where it is rubbing
. Does any one else have this problem or know of a more creative solution to fix it
? Thanks to all that reply, Jason

? Thanks to all that reply, Jason ya........everybody has that problem when they have a generic brand strut bar.........you got to get rid of that strut bar......or if you want to keep it toss the CAI......but if you want the CAI you got to go Neuspeed or DC Sports.......I think they're the only guys that make a strut bar for our cars that'll be compatible with a CAI
i had the same issue, 1, i put a peice of weather stripping on it, to pad it, but it wears thru, what you have to do is tilt/angel the bar outwards via the parts you tighten so its stright, so it doesnt hit, if you need further help, pm or email me

My strut Bar looks the same as cdmx's, I'll try turning the bar so it's buldge or "arch" faces forward instead of up as in his pics. Thank you for your quick reply's everyone hopefully this will slove my problem.

damn thats how my bar was with a generic cai. I instead bought a injen sri to fit with my tenzo strut bar. no more noise for me.
Hey, its easy. I plan to get the spoon bars and put my stock intake back on. Then I scraped that idea and I want more power. I got my cold air when it came out and got the first ebay strut bars to hit the auctions. You cannot beat $40 for the front and rear. I would post pics, but I am at work.
