Talking Top Speed Header/High Flow Cat Install TODAY!!

Whats up people...I just woke up not too long ago, and was feeling all tingly inside like it was X-mas kuz I got my Top Speed Header/High Flow Cat. I took pics for you all to see and I hope you enjoy them. I also took a comparison picture of the DC Sports Ceramic Header Vs. Top Speed Stainless Steel Header! Some of you want to see the size difference.....the DC Header DOESN'T COMPARE to this beast!!

As soon as I am done installing it and taking it for a test run I will post my thoughts about the sound of my exhaust after I install the header, what range in the rpm band I felt the most push, etc. All my after thoughts are coming up soon, so enjoy these pics of the headers and comments and opinions are welcome!! I'm one bad *** **** now!@!

How wide is the Cat? Can you measure the diameter? I want to know if it will fit with my crappy old progress tech sway bar (I bought it before they redesigned it)....

Can you clear a few things up for me? Did the header and cat come as a package or did you purchase them seperately? If seperate, is the cat a random tech cat? I heard those don't seem to fit right....not sure exactly.

Anyhow, thanks for the info

FINALLY! I got my car back!! And I can definitely say that the $250 bux u spend on this header is DEFINITELY worth it...the sound of my exhaust is noticably louder...i mean like 2x louder...it sounds awesome....and gains, throttle response.....damn, i got off quicker, alot quicker and i definitely felt pull thruout the ENTIRE powerband...its like my car just wanted to GO! I definitely recommend this header/high flow cat to anyone who wants a stainless steel header....this is the BEST investment I have made to my car so far. I give it 2 thumbs up, WAY UP! Be it, its not turbo or anything and my words may sound exaggerated to some, but this Header rocks!!

It pulls hard, acceleration is alot quicker, and man, just get it!! I am going to see if I can schedule a dyno over at a shop in sac or folsom or somewhere....but man, this header is off the HOOK!!

well...here are a list of my mods...

Top Speed Stainless Steel Header w/High Flow Cat
(No need for an O2 Sim and you don't have to shave any motor mounts!!) [you can buy the header off of member Circa-X]

Racer Design Intake
(I had the AEM SRI and my current intake is ALOT better than the AEM SRI) [you can buy it at www.typerx.com]

AEM Pulleys

AEM Cam Gear

Apexi N1 Catback Exhaust Piping - I had the Apexi N1 Catback but the canister started to rattle and I cut it off and put my Apexi N1 Style w/burned tip muffler on it...i still have the original N1 piping.

DENSO Iridium Spark Plugs

Thats all the mods I have so far, and the next one i plan to get is the JMO Peformance Torque Converter...hope i answer some questions and enlighten you on the "soon" to be fastest N/A 7th Gen AT!!

man.. your not going to get anywhere with bolt ons. You do bolt ons, then you realize what you really wanted was a lot of power and you go forced induction or engine swap

R3DL1N3: to answer your questions, the holes on the downpipe/high flow cat are for the 02 sensors to plug into.....there is no need for an 02 sim....and the CEL never comes on....you gotta ask Circa-X if he can sell you the downpipe seperately...i think he can work wit you...

snoopbag: yeah man, i've got an EX and there was no need to cut a damn thing off my car...my shop charged me $40...yeah i know, it might be somewhat of a rip, but hey, i aint got the tools and i trust my folks at my shop...they did a great job!

straightridah03: i don't know if Top Speed makes headers for the LX, you have to PM Circa-X about that...all i know so far is that they are for the EX, but I might be wrong...ask him about it man, and I'm sure he'll give u some news on it....

It kinda feels great to be the first person with a Top Speed Header/High Flow Cat on our cars....and whats even better iz that its a high quality product!

I have a EX, if I installed this header and inspection time came, would I be able to take the high flow cat off and bolt the stock cat on without removing the uper piece?
