downpipes
downpipes
ok i still cant get any good answers on the downpipe i need with my short hp racing 4-1 header. do downpipes take up the cat? specificly the hp racing downpipe? if they dont then why would i need an o2 sim? are there any other recomendations on downpipes?

I've been calling local muffler shops to see if they would custom
make a downpipe for me,but in NJ they won't mess with anything
in front of the cat.
I contacted HP and there downpipe for that header won't be out untill September.

than theirs no cat but has a resinator.......
than theirs straight pipe....
The last two will not pass emmision.... and u will need a o2 sim installed on them.... or your car will run like shizt......
Like my car...... i got hks custom downpipe with high flow cat....
i needed to use a o2 sim cause my computer was running the fuel too rich.
