got my new civic finally..
i got my new civic coupe ex today.
its black. i love black.
it was $15,125+++ @ 1.9% APR fixed.
$250.88 for 60 months
i got floor mats for free and nothing else..lol
im happy with the price tho
anyway, the damn thing is that it rained right after i got off the door..shiet..
car looks kinda dirty now cuz its black and got rained..
what should i do for keep it clean?
should i wash it tomorrow?
when should i start a waxing and polishing? i heard i should wait for 90days cuz the paint on new car is not completely settled. true?
then what should i do for those water spot and dust on it? damn rain
one more thing
i got m/t but im new at m/t so my dad drove it to home.
i practiced to drive it but i got stalled about 10~15 times in 10 minutes..
would it hurt the car bad? i was like hit myself everytime i got stalled..

you should be ok in a MT just take it easy. "Its all in hips, its all in the hips" j/k. As far as washing it you can starting washing it and waxing it right away that thing has been painted for quite some time already. I would only use Mequiars but thats just my personal choice.

It's always better to give it too much gas and spin tires than to stall. Tires are much much cheaper than transmissions. Give it more gas anf let the clutch out a little slower and evenly. When you start to feel it grab, give it some more gas. It's all touch, you'll get the hang of it. Glad you went with the stick after all, you'll have more fun. Good luck.
aww man a stick..good choice, i wouldnt get anything else.
and i agree, go easy on the clutch, when you feel it grabbing(the RPM will go down a lil) even it out with just a tad more gas. you will get the hang of it easyly.
have fun and go easy on it for the first 500 miles. the engine needs to break in.

congrats, yeah just wait until the weather clears up then wash her up. wax it afterwards, mother and meguiars ( i use meguiars) are good polishes. for stalling out, like everyone said let out the clutch slower and give her some gas, you can feel the clutch engaging the flywheel
Good choice. Whats the first mod? It takes some time to work it correctly. The part that is the hardest is stopping and going. Practice in the driveway for a little bit, and then take it to a road with a lot of stop signs. Youll be an expert in no time.
congrats, enjoy it, and don't let anyone tell ya any bs about horsepower and all that. it's about how you drive it and how you enjoy it, not how many HP it has.
waxing, i recommend Zaino. I have used most everything else and will not touch anything but Zaino anymore. When you wash it, use a mild dish soap and water solution, as this will help remove the last coat of wax, as well as dirt and such. wash (and dry) with a soft 100% cotton towel or a clean soft sponge. never scrub hard on extra dirty spots or you will eventually scratch it. the quicker you get a few coats of zaino on it, the easier it will be to clean later. If you get custom rims, be sure to zaino them (or wax in general) and they will clean much easier at car washes etc.
enjoy the car, and be sure to take it to the track when you can!
