temporary solution to cleared headlights

i know tons of ppl here have cleared headlights. but looking for LED/halogen 7443 or 7440 amber bulbs are expensive or hard to find. plus not to mention the ugly amber reflection in the headlights durning the daytime. I found a temporary GHETTO solution to this problem. go ask your little sister if u can have her ORANGE Crayola marker. take it and color on the outside of the headlight where your turnsignal bulb is. PRESTO instant GHETTO temporary amber turnsignals. perfect for when you travel through piggy infested areas. If that doesnt work out for you try and use an orange Dry erase marker too. both markers are easily removable and will not damage ur headlights.

GHETTO SOLUTION OF THE DAY :clap

what i did was shave the ridges, on a pair of apc orange 7443, that prevented me from plugging them in. Now they fit perfectly, but only turn on when the indicator is used but not when the parking light switch is on.

I wish those would work, i looked everywhere for 7443 amber bulbs and wasn't having much luck at all. Canadian tire stocks every other APC bulb but that one it seems.

the front turn signal bulb is a 7443...the 7440 will fit with a little effort (like filing the ends)

Sweet, thinking of doing the same...wouldn't the color come off as a result of the bulb heating up though?? Thanks.

He means you're supposed to paint the headlight housing not the bulb.
