wiring question? help quick!!

OKi want to wire these pedals http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2423287031 so that when i turn my key in the ignition they turn on. not when i turn it to start the car but so they come on like when the radio comes on in th acc position. how cani do this? is it possible? if so could you specify the color wires and how to do it?

Thanks,
Chris

Why not just wire them to your lights so when you turn on your parking lights they come on then? There's no real reason to have them on during the day anyway.

Also, be careful with those pedals - they get *very slippery* when wet. There is no grip on them whatsoever.

i figured since they take almost no power it would be easier and i wouldn't have to think abut turning them on they would just be on when the car is on. so how do i do it?ually i will wire them to go on with my underbody neons whn i get them. for now this is how i want i done. SO how do i do it?

What i suggest is wiring them to your 12v socket, then they will come on when you want at the acc position and when the car is on. You can probably look at the DIY on how to remove your head unit to see how you can get back there. Its just a matter of hooking up the wires to those two wires connected to the 12v socket

Its Even easier than that. I wish I was not at work I could show you, but I am at work so I am just gonna have to try to explain. In the fuse panel area under the stering wheel. You will see a area with 3 prongs where you can plug things in to. Looks something like this:

|----------| Well if you plug in to the far right one, that will answer your question
| __ __ __ | I will try to take a pic tonight when I get home.
|----------|

^
.Thats the one you want to plug in to.

Why not just put the hot wire for the pedals on one side if the fuse going to the radio, and running the gound wire to the body near the fuse panel? That way they come on when radio like you want. You can also do this with radar dectetor hard wire.

Use a tap splice and tap into your 12v socket, that's how I wired up all of mym in car neons, although they are also on a switch. If you do it that way, there is no way that they can be left on when the key isn't in the ignition.
