if i get a hp racing downpipe to fit my hp racing shorty header, would it be ok not to run an o2 simulator? i don think anyone around here knows how to install one honestly. i know the muffler shop i get my exhaust work done at doesnt know how. i really dont care about the check engine light but would there be any other problems?

If the CEL is on, the car is running in safe mode, meaning that it adjusts the fuel maps and other settings and it runs like crap trust me. I had a downpipe before and the o2 sim was a must, and plus its easy to hook up. MY CEL is on now, and my car bogs down bad... I gotta replace my o2 sensors, thats the code it through at me. The o2 sensors are what makes the car run good, unless you trick it with the sim!
