e-brake handle removal

does anyone know of a DIY for the ebrake removal. i want to change to a MOMO e-brake handle but can find a way to take off the stock one. if anyone knows please let me know. thanks.

I think when i took mine off I did it by using a hacksaw . . . it was so long ago that I can't even remember for sure.

since we are on the subject of ebrake, u guys know how i can tighten my ebrake? i think mine is a bit loose.

Ya dude you just saw it off at the right length, atleast thats how i did mine. Then on the inside of the ebrake handle there should be some screws that you put on to hold it into place.

There is a piece of metal that I had to file down on mine up in the front to get the new ebrake to slide all the way down and be flush where I sawed it. I think I had to file about a quarter inch of metal off. Once you saw off your old ebrake you'll see what i'm talking about.
