Exhaust install help

I recently got a G2 muffler off my friend and look to do the installation myself. Can I go off of the Magmaflo DIY to install my lesser muffer the same way or is it different? I just got a header I think, I dont know much about exhaust systems and mufflers in general but he said its costom fitted for all 01-03 Civics. What'm I supposed to do? Thanks guys.

It depends on whether the muff has a flange for bolts or whether the muffler simply has a pipe coming off of it. Obviously, if it bolts up installation will be simply unbolting the old and bolting in the new.

If it's just a pipe with no bolts you will need a shop to weld it as already stated.

Post more specifics and we can be of more help.

yea you bought muffler, not catback bolt on exhaust.
you will need to get it done from muffler shop so they can weld it to stock piping.

Yea, you'll have to have the shop weld that puppy up.

You can buy muffs by themselves that simply bolt in place of the oem. I think they call them axle backs.

Thanks guys, I think Midas will do it for a decent price. Do you think a job like this will void any warentees though?
