Engine Noise/2006/2004 Civic Hybrid When Cold
Seems to be temperature related and the colder it gets the louder the engine noise until it warms up. Sounds like valves or piston slap. Anyone else notice this in the 2004 and 2006. My 2006 has 10,000 miles and is the loudest. MY 2003 seems to be quieter with 60,000 mile. Also oil viscosity does not make a difference ( at least 0w20/0w30/ mixtures of 0w20 and 0w40)
