Here is a site that offers reviews on the various Hybrids including the Honda Prius...they too talk about the mpg not benig as good as advertised.

Rep Power: 0 Well even so look at the long term benefit. If the advent of hybriods could really catch on there will still be fossil fuel utility just not as much. But it's so circular because it takes the power plants decarbonising energy to make the electricity right?
