05 Civic Si

I have an 05 Civic Si and I am looking to turbo it!!! Is there anyone selling a kit? What would you suggest for upgrades (internal and external) if any in order to turbo it without any mechanical problems.

we actually do. you can browse our site or call us for it 626 442 3988 ask for cg! or check the site at www.godspeedproject.com

ps. youll get problems with any turbo kit. Its all about the way you tune it. making sure the compression is right. you got a new car so im guessing it should be fine. most of it is bolt on.

Its also about your internals.. you wouldnt want to run too much boost through standard internals, bolt on kit or not.

just buy a short block.. it's cheaper.. if you shop around you can find a built short block for about 2k and that way you can build the motor while you're still driving on your old one

2k?
you could almost buy a whole new engine for that price
Or a front cut for a bit more...

a built up short block... as in one w/ forged internals.. 2k ain't tha tmuch.. after you buy the parts for over a grand, have it installed in the block (on these newer engines, it's not a driveway job.. i learned that the hard way) and all the block machining done.. it's 2g.. that's a good price...

If you are staying within reasonable limits with boost (5-8#'s of boost) there should be no real need for upgraded internals as that is what most stock turbo systems run with no problems. If you're looking to run some mad boost then all forged internals are needed, upgraded valvetrain is recommended, a bad *** head gasket, also look into upgrading the fuel system as well. Just remember that turbo engines (unlike all motor jobs) like low compression. When You buy the parts or the short / long block let the place know that you want to run a turbo and they will be more than happy to help you out..
