redline on b16a

Is 9000rpm the standard redline on a b16a civic?

It seems to be the norm, however I dont go past around 7500rpm before the power starts dropping off.

I wouldnt go past there anyway.. are you racing or something?

Sure they are known to rev to 9000k but not an older car - you'll just kill it.
Its natural for power to drop off, in fact if you can get to 7500 before power loss occurs, then you're doing well.

Its the standard redline on the dash cluster, doesnt mean you should hit it though hehe

Remove the rev limiter if you want to go higher
(actually does the B16 have a rev limiter?)
