Question NEW SiR (help)

car is bone stock right now... just wondering what kind of upgrades you all started off with (Engine wise) and how much difference did it make? Already have eyes set for the Type R body kit but any other suggestions will help too.. I really want to upgrade the engine more so I can back up that Type R look when I get the type R kit!
It's a silver SiR in case you're wondering...

CAI, header, cat back exhaust, hondadata flash ECU, Nuespeed short shifter, those should get you up there really nicely.

It's not mine, it's actually my g/f's bro's car and he just picked it up. I wouldn't let go of my Si now, spent too much on it... 2500 just for the engine not to mention paintjob, body kit, etc...

No it is not a direct swap. The bolt holes that go through the strut housing are too small. You have to bore them out. I believe there are 2MM too small.

I have a reply as well as a question. For one it seems you are on the right track with your SiR. Secondly I have heard that i can install RSX-S headers and cams in my vehicle is this true?

No you can not. The Vtec in the RSX type S and the SI is different. The Cams will not work. The header might fit. The K20A2 has a hook that the header slide onto first.

unfortunately, he's not part of TCC... maybe tonight I will try to bring him to the TCC meet at KC but we usually hang at Shoppers World in Brampton... If you see a Silver SiR, with a Black Prelude (newest design), Custom blue '01 Civic coupe then that's us.
