Ballast problem..Please read..weird problem

so i have a 10k hid kit on my 98 civic dx with aftermarket projector headlights...at first booth lights wroked fine. then justi a week ago my left low beam stopped working. they had beeen working that night then wen i had gone back to my car a couple hours later the left low beam was not working. the bulb didnt flicker at all or anything so i didnt think it was burnt out. the next day i switched the ballasts. i put the left ballast on the right headligt and the right ballast on the left headlight. i realized that the ballast went bad because when i sswitched the ballasts the right headlight stopped working and the left headlight began working. i put a new ballast on the right headlight because i felt there was no point to switch the ballasts back again. so now i have my old ballast connected to the left headlight and the new one connected to the right headlight. the other day my left headlight went out again. the right ballast is buzzing when the hids go on but the left one again is not buzzing and not turning on. i have no clue why the ballast connected to the left headlight keeps going bad...please respond..i need help....i dont want to get pulled over especially with these new nj gdl laws...thanks

sounds like something in the circut is triping. could be a exposed wire or connection someplace, bad bulb, where u have ballast mounted - excess vibration, water exposure etc. hard to pin point... HiD kits are finiky ive personally gone through 3 till i settled on one that seems reliable so far...
