Honda civic 96 will start but constantly running at 20 mph
I have an automatic transmission 96 honda civic. The CV joint on the passenger side is broken but when I start the car and put it in gear the speedometer reads 20 mph constantly but when I hit the gas the wheels will not move at all. I just need to know why it will not move any help will be appreciated.

and the odometer is constantly going so the engine itself it running at 20 mph but the car will not move or stay in park.

Nevermind the cv joint was shattered pretty much and thats why it wouldnt go into gear so...I guess I answered my own question.
