ok hears the deal ive got a 97 civic d16y7 non vtec it runs like its missing. ive checked the timing and the timing belt and they are both fine.the check engine light is on and when i checked the it said all 4 were miss firing. i was wondering if it could be the ecu causing the prob.and how can i fix it

should i buy a new head?

i replaced the cap wires and plugs

Does it do it at idle or all times? Did you gap the plugs correctly? Only other things I can think of is vaccume leak or fuel pressure, also is ur timing belt changed on time?

a stretched belt could cause your car to misfire..it happened to me

ya i better just do it. i called around and i costs like $350 dollers. iv helped a friend do it before and i could do it myself.
