Help rust on bolts etc.
Guys, i'm just new to this site and a new owner of a used honda civic 2006 dx-g, my 1st car. But i have a concern on the car that i bought. Some rust on the bolts near the engine. We've checked all honda civic 2006 on the car lot, they have almost rust at the same spot. I'm not really familiar with car so i'm a little bit worried.

They just did rustproofing on it , but is this normal? The rust on bolts?
All opinions will be much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Re: Help rust on bolts etc.
ya unfortunately certain grade of bolts and metal parts will rust. what i did was paint the bolts and brackets. its easier if the bolts come out but some dont. you can still mask off the areas to be sprayed and just do it on the car. just do quick spray so it doesnt fly everywhere. be sure to use hi temp paint for the header bolts but regular flat black for other brackets and stuff.

Thank you for the reply. I'm a little bit relieve right now. I was really surprised to see the rust on some bolts, i'm not expecting it for a 2006 honda civic.
