Im currently in an '02 civic and i want to take off my spoiler, my question is would this be a hard task to do since the break lights run through the spoiler as well, if yanno what i mean? and my maint. reqd light flashes everytime i turn my car on, but at the dealership they couldnt figure out what was wrong? also, when i pull up too stop lights/signs - my car is shaking, and im not sure what the problem could be.. and when i ease on the gas to take off, the gas pedal is squeaking..

spoiler can come off, but you will have to plug the holes. just rewire the brake light to the factory piece in the trunk lid. the maint light can be turned off by holding down the dimmer **** on the gauge cluster and then turning car to ON (but not starting motor). continue holding the dimmer switch for 20 seconds, that will reset the light. if car shakes at idle, check the rpms. if they are below 700, you have problems with idle air valve, which can be taken off for cleaning. it is located on the side of the throttle body where the two coolant lines go inside it.

thank you, i rewired the brake lights up through the trunk and then i took off the spoiler.

and yes, i have. but now the stock stero wont come on?
