03 Heater Fan

The heater fan on my 03 LX has stopped working. I checked the underhood fuse and it looks good. Any other fairly simple things I can check on my own before I take it in?

A lot of people have had trouble with the "transistor" causing loss of fan. Look around there are some threads with the info here.
