turbo civic

hey im just looking at selling my current civic atm...
i was looking around and i found this one http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars...t=0&Make=HONDA
my current civic is turbo and i was really just after something with a bit more punch and i honestly dont know if this would do that??? what do you guys think about it general it dosent really give much info... im prepared to spend a fair bit of money making it look a lil better or just making it that little bit faster...does it look like its worth $8500AU??? thanks for your help

I don't see how that will be anymore powerful than what you have now. I say spend your money by building your engine on your current setup and you'll be happier.

its just im running a sohc d-series atm in an ek and ive figured there would be a little more potential with this engine but honestly i dont know thought id just ask for some opnions seeing this one is all done from what i can see... is this engine that much better than a sohc potential wise???

I apologize what I meant to say came out the wrong way. I'm not sure what the exchange rate is from Australia to the US but that seems like a lot of money for a car with alot of miles and that old. I feel like you can go much further with your money if you A) swapped the engine B.) Build your engine for more power C.) buy a different civic with less miles and better engine

If you want somethign that you dont have to swap I say go for it. Becasue you need to get a B-series to get any real power under the hood anyways. But not sure what the US-AU conversion rate is.

i agree, just invest your money on improving ur current car, unless u absolutely wanted to get another civic
