Help me read these smog results!
Hey guys, I just got a used Honda Civic and I need some help, the car won't pass smog and I need to know what the most likely cause is based off these test results, all the info on the car is in the picture and it also has an AEM cold air intake as well as DC ceramic headers so I already know about the "Tampered" part and have that covered.

oh crap, california. i bet the car runs just fine, they failed you because of the mods. which you are gonna have to do your own arguing. i know for a fact DC header has a welded stamp with smog exempt on it. so thats legal. i bet the same for the aem intake. those are all legal in cali. so the modified part is false. the only thing else i see is a bit high smog readings. did you drive the car hard on freeway right before the test? thats the most common cause of failing cause the car must be up to temp otherwise ANY car will fail. if you warmed it up, next thing it could be is a bad catalytic converter. could also just need some tuneup done like spark plugs, fuel injector cleaner, etc.

YEah thanks for the input, the headers are good like you said, and I ended up having to get the stamp/sticker for the AEM intake because it didnt have it originally, so now they are both good to go. On behalf of the actual numbers, the spark plugs have been changed and of course the car runs great but it still fails, so I guess next thing would be the Cat?
Could anybody on here recommend a cheap ebay cat that would pass on the Cali smog check??

unfortunately, none of the hi flow models would pass. you prolly need an oem so check ebay and also some local junkyards for used oem part. but first figure out that its actually a problem. is the engine light on? or just drives fine. cause i think you may just need some gas treatment stuff and maybe that will clear it up. just make sure the car is as hot as you can get it and LEAVE CAR RUNNING while you wait for them to smog it.. revving every minute or so doesnt hurt either.

Yeah, i'll make sure its hot, and ill treat the gas, also, the intake manifold was loaded with grease on the interior and I have cleaned it out since, hopefully that will help a bit.
