trim it?
my greddy sp2 was seriously banging and smacking my type R rear lip like crazy. Luckily I was able to trim around and behind the lip and 95% of the time now I get no banging. Sometimes when I reverse it bangs, but only if I'm reversing into a speed bump or something.
some people might reccomend polyurethane hangers, but that might cause more vibration towards the front of your car.

i have a DC TCS with a xenon bumper and it use to do that. when i took off the bumper i noticed it was melting, so i took a piece of metal and screwed it into the bumper where the exhaust was hitting. no more problem.

Re: catback exhaust owners chime in
move the exhaust down. when i tie mine to sit close to the bumper to have it centered, it hits it sometimes. just lower it by bending the hangers or have shop do it.
