Unhappy D15Z1 problem any help?

my 92 civic vx has a d15z1 and it is sputtering really bad and spitting out blue smoke. the engine only sputters when you press too tard on the gas. and today i went up a hill and it just died like it wasnt getting enough gas.
does anyone know what could be wrong or how i could figure out whats wrong?
and no i dont want to go to a mechanic cause i am going to school for it in the fall and want to fix it myself i just dont know whats wrong

well yea. if enough goes into the cyl. its filling it with coolant or oil or both and its not getting the conditions it needs to combust. and it wont so you get stalling/sputtering. try headgasket. its the most common.

the one closest to the distributor
i dont know if that helps or makes a difference

Re: D15Z1 problem any help?

so the oil is leaking into the top of the spark plug. that is the valve cover gasket. the round ones that go on the individual spark plug holes.

and look em up you can go cheap/oem or aftermarket.

felpro cometic honda etc.
