vtec problem?
hey guys gotta little problem..
was getting on the throttle today(gsr), shifted to second almost but not quite full throttle, vtec lagged and when i hit it, it sounded like it was sputtering, like it didint know if it should kick in or not, i havent tried it with other gears but it doesnt do it when im full throttle so im wondering if its just a minor issue or not?
please help me

hmm the engine light would come on i think if theres a problem with the vtec system. i know on the newer civics (01-05), the vtec does not even engage until the throttle is at 100%, the coolant is warmed up, oil pressure is normal, and rpm above 4500. is your oil level at the max line? check to make sure.
