You need to give us more information. Where is the sound coming from? The stick is the shifter I take it? Also (to me) a thunk and something slipping sounds different so your description of the sound doesn't help me out much.

ok. it dose it about every 30 or so seconds and only when the car is not moving and it is in N. it is a stick. i is a light thunk like if you flicked a peice of cardboard lightly.

Okay... do your RPMs drop when this thunk happens? Is your AC on? This could be your AC compressor cycling on and off.

no nothing is on (ac etc) i just turn it on than 30 or so secs later it thunks and it only happens in N. it dont matter if its hot or cold it always dose it even with ac on and off and every thing..

I'll check to see if it does this on mine tomorrow. I'll start it cold, leave it in neutral, and see if I can hear anything. Is your clutch engaged or disengaged? Hopefully you can use that to exclude any normal sounds that you haven't heard before.

So if you put it in gear it doesn't do it? Weird. I almost wonder if the clutch is sticking or something. You push the clutch to start it, then maybe about 20 seconds later it pops out? That doesn't explain it only doing in in N, but that's the only thing I can think of. Very strange issue.

Hmmmmm? interesting it more than likely has something to do with your transmission.
Your input shaft on your transmission still spins even when your in neutral, if it happens almost 30 seconds apart every time like a pattern you might have a messed up gear but that is doubtful the gears in the honda's tend to be pretty strong. but something could have gotten chewed up in there and as it goes round it catches on something every 30 seconds.
the 7thgens have a nasty habit of the inputshaft bearing going out(ehh pain in the ****) on them but that is more of a growling sound.
Try sticking the car in neutral feel/listen for your sound at idle. Then with the car still in neutral take it up to 3000 rpms and listen/feel for the sound to see if it speeds up or stay the same.
if it speed up I would definitely take a closer look at that transmission
