Need some Help PLease and thanks
I'm hoping that someone could help me out before I get raped by a mechanic.
I was merrily on my way to work, and when i turned down to go down this hill my 91 civic SI just stopped. all the power was there. I was luckily on the hill that my old man lives on and rolled right into his driveway. I tried to turn it over and it tried to start but it was like there was no gas. I know there is gas in the tank. I'm thinking the fuel pump or fuel filter. Can someone with more car brains please help me out. Thanks.

Car needs three things to run. Fuel, air, and spark. Start there to determine your problem. Pull the plugs after turning it over a few times to see if they are wet with fuel. If they are, pull one plug at a time and have someone turn over the car while you look at the plug (not too closely) to see if there is spark.
Try that and check back with us.
