New '08 Si Sedan, AW Mats

Greetings to all! New member who just went through a "responsible" mid-life crisis after 17 years of driving trucks and purchased a new Rallye Red Si sedan (<200 mi. on it at present). I am interested in some all weather mats to protect the carpeted factory mats but find it interesting that the Honda AW mats require modification to install (seems silly to me). Anyway, any good recommendations on AW mats from other suppliers/manufacturers that can be placed in the vehicle? Anticipate turning the vehicle over to the daughter in about 2 years.

Re: New '08 Si Sedan, AW Mats

I picked up a set of the OEM all weather mats for my Sidan a few weeks ago. Great quality. Perfect fit. No modification necessary.

For years I have used nothing but WeatherTech mats. Great design, capture mud, sand, dirt and snow, and remain pliable in cold weather. They can be purchase for the front only, rear only, or both. Check their website for more infomation.

KenB, did you have to place the retaining hook into the driver's seat base to hold the mat in place or did you just set it in the floorboard like the other mats?
