what do you think i should swap..h22a or b16a? and what will i need to do b4 swapping (buying mounts,etc)?

i have a 2000 honda civic CX H/B

h22 starst out w/200 hp (usdm) or 220 hp ( jdm) b16 starts out with 160 (usdm) 170 (jdm). the torque that an h22 puts out is MAD, BUT you need a diff set of mounts that will run you about 7bills. i personally am in the process of getting an h22 built to put in something so maybe im partial to it.

or cheaply b20 vtec.
for the oney the b20vtec is the best bang for the buck. usually with minor mods such as intake, exhaust and header a b20vtec will put down about 200whp

out of those two id rock the b16a2

h22's are heavy!

you cvan buy a basic b20 for about $500 complete with low miles and a vtec head with everything needed to install for about the same. it takes a lot for a b16 to put down 200whp plus you will never have the trque of the larger motor with a b16
