port and polish N/A d16y8 in CA..?
my friend wants to squees d16z6 2d EX to milk some more HPs.
he wants to give his civic new life w/800-1000$ including labor $$$.
he doesnt know alot about engine n car, so he asked me for ideas.
i decide give me my d16y8 head for free to do port job.
since i don know about little about sohc vtec
i just told him to get n/a tune:
header(nice DC or branD)
ehxust(generic, ebay kind),
head/ valvetrain port job(he wants to do from shp w/warranty),
maybe crower or skunk stg 1 camshaft(he wants to install them from shp w/warranty),
adjustable cam gear(he wants to install them from shp w/warranty),
the car ready has wheels,lowred,intake
the car is good condition w/11k milles
maybe mods above+allignmnet will make that small car rest of life speedy
he wants about 155whp w/his 2dr civic
where are the shops who does d16 engine/port job in so cal..?
