IMAhybrid is an unknown quantity at this point

They are more aerodynamic, and light. Helps with gas mileage. But no they are not a part of the hybrid system, it doesn't have in-wheel motors or anything like that. The rims can be changed. I agree the new 8th gen hybrid rims are ugly, but I like mine on the 7th gen. I also like the Insight rims.
