Help Please....

My clutch went out so i got a exeddy clutch, I got it put in by one of the techs at my job.But now when im in 5th gear it keeps popping out of gear...does any one know what that might be? thanks

When the imput shaft bearing goes out there becomes lateral play in the bearing, which will cause your 5th gear to pop out of gear. Thats what happen to me anyway but mine was really bad when i took my foot of the gas you could hear a terrible grinding noise from the imput shaft bearing. hope this helps.

did you have any gear grinding problems while on the bad clutch? If so you might have damaged the synchros or the gear set.
