Car suspension problem?
Car suspension problem?
I have a 98 Honda Civic LX Sedan with 75,000 miles. My car makes a woo woo sound in the front of the car when it accelerates, and becomes very loud at high speeds. I do not have any problem with steering, there are no excessive vibrations, and the car doesn't pull to one side or the other. I just replaced two of my tires, and the new tires are in the front. However, I had this problem before I replaced the tires. I suspect there is a problem in the front suspension, but I do not know what it is. Does anyone have an idea?
The brakes should be fine. I just had them inspected, and replaced the driver side boot and axle. There is no significant increase in vibration, but there may be a small increase in vibration. As far as I can tell, the only problem is the sound. It sounds like it may be a problem with the tires or wheel, but I just had my 2 tires replaced along with alignment, rotation, and balancing on all the wheels. Also, the sound doesn't really sound abnormal, just louder than normal. I also know that it isn't a problem with the exhaust system.
