Intake Help..
I'm deciding on a reliable intake to buy for a 97 Civic LX. I have a few questions. First, what is a reliable (good) intake to buy? Also, is there a big difference between short ram and cold-air intakes? (besides pipe length and positioning, is there a big difference in power gain?).. I have been looking for an intake for a while now.
Is it worth buying an AEM short ram intake over say, a Weapon-r Dragon intake? What are some of your suggestions on intakes?
Thankssss

For The Love Of God Do Not Get The Weapon R It Is A Terrible Design.
The Answer To Your Question Is Yes There Is A Hp Gain Difference.
The Mroe Air You Take In The Better, The Cooler It Is The Better, There Is About A 4hp Difference Between Sri And Cai, However If You Get A Header And Exhaust You Will Gian More Their As Well With A Cai.

I have the AEM V2 CAI on my 98 civic ex, and I love the sound and the minimal yet slightly noticable power gain. on my other car(95 Toyota Corolla), I have a Weapon R Dragon intake....short ram....I would much rather have the cold air over short ram. I then installed DC headers and a Greddy Evo2 cat back system with a Magnaflow high flow catalytic converter.
