Aftermarket computer

If you had a highly modified civic, perhaps turbo or supercharged, which aftermarket ECU would you get?

I know Wold 3D are very good, though Im unsure if theres a Civic model.

Are there any Civic compatible ones?

Ok, will do, thanks.

I still want to hear of people's experiences and opinions here though.
Especially people who already have an aftermarket ecu in their car.

Thanks

Apexi PowerFC is one of the best.
This is a full EMS, not just an ECU.

An EMS is the best thing to get as they are a whole system - ie "engine management system"

AEM EMS, Apexi PowerFC, Accel DFI are some of the big names one, Hondata is a smaller cheaper one.

Yup you are right. you can get piggy back ECU's but they suck IMO.
Hard to tune and often incompatible with what you have in the car, they just cant take full control like an EMS can.

The only tough thing is finding someone who knows how to tune the particular EMS that you buy - always look into that before buying one.

If i would buy a management system for a honda, i would probably buy the greddy emanage ultimate, full fuel and timing control, but its not a full standalone so you wont suffer to bad on the drivability issues. Other then that, the AMS or TEC units are pretty badass.
