?'s about the Si
for one the GT-S weighs about 2500lbs. two you said it yourself, the RA and SpecV has more power and torque.
i agree with FattyMcJ, the SI is underestimated. people think, oh its a mini-van is has to be slow and cant handle for crap. actually, the Si is pretty preppy for weighing about 2700lbs and it handles like a champ in stock form.
if you win a race with power then you're not a good driver, you have a good car. if you win a race with skills then you're a good driver, you know how to drive. thats what i believe.
but whatever. diff strokes for diff folks. oh yeah i love my Si seats and shifter location.

you may be very well right. but, in the Si's defense, it will please more people because it does more things better than any of the others.
i will say one thing, the 19,995 that my local dealer is asking is about 2000-2500 more than the car is worth. in that sense yes, there are definitly other cars out there that are a better value and would perform almost as well, or in some cases better.

if the Si wasnt so heavy, it would be an even better contender. mine (04) weighs in at 2782 stock. i paid 17,9 for mine........paid 16,4 for my 01 coupe in 01. well worth it to me for the new whip

yup, 20k, but i think its cause theyre trying to pay off their big addition....i test drove an 04 GTO(theyre a Pontiac/GMC/Buick/Honda dealer) and they wouldn't budge on the 33k price. my buddy, who works at a Honda dealer about 30 miles away(which is a big franchise) said that their Pontiac dealer was lettin the GTO's go for around27k or so cause theyre not sellin. i wasnt lookin to buy one, i just wanted to drive one. i had to keep from laughing when my local dealer said that a ****48 MONTH >LEASE<**** would be $425 per month! so, back to my point, they basicly have a big mark up right now at my dealer.....

) Yeah I've heard stories of stock Ep's taking Ralliart's and Deffinetly Celica GT-S's, I've even heard one story of a stock Ep taking a Spec V, but I'm sure Spec V vs. Ep3 perfect driving (
) Spec V would win.
Sure stock the Si really doesn't got ****, but it responds pretty well to mods... turbo's where it's at. 10 psi CN turbo is 270 horse to the Wheels, now it's even more. But who would on these forums are here to buy an Si to keep it stock?
