stock ep3 w/hondata VS. stock gsr
that's not really a fair comparison. the EG hatches are featherweight compared to most cars. a GSR B18 in an EG hatch is not the same as a GSR.
but even with hondata, i'd give the nod to the GSR over the EP by a hair ... but it'd come down to the drivers.

well who cares anyway.... i beat gsr with my 2002 sir and we both not stock. my car is lowered and with muffler plus 18 inch (same weight with my stock) but i dont have spare tire (i never get a flat tire) his got i/h/m and lowered with 17 inch (i dont know the weight)
i guess it's a driver race......if you dont have enough experience then ur dead......
i'm driving manual since i was grade 5

Yeah a GSR could take an Si pretty easily I would say.. Unless you have a wickedly modded Si, but stock? GSR.. and if they both have mods then prob still GSR, lol if you wanna see a wicked fast one

heavier...but not crazy heavy, i dont think.
ep3 weighs in around 2700...i dont know about the GSR tho....i'll assume 2500??? but i have no idea haha
the Si is pretty torquey, IMO...but i've never driven a GSR

A hondata'd Ep3's Redline is at 7700 Rpm do you think that would really make a big difference compared to 8k? Anyway the gearing in the K20a3 is closer matched to a B18c than to a B16. So if the race where mod to mod it would be a driver's race.

Doesn't the si have more torque.....
the question is, How much heavier is the EP3 than the DC2???

well, my money is on the gsr. Hondata reprograms are made to work with cold air intakes with an exhaust ... if it's a stock ep3, then the hondata program is gonna add too much fuel and therefore it's gonna run a little rich ...
if we are talking about kpro ... well, maybe the guy should spend money on different mods before getting kpro
