Unhappy break line pressure

Ok im was gnna change my gf break pads and idk my dum butt took off the bolt connected to the break line...i tightened back up the bolt and put more fluod in and pumped it up...it seems to hold pressure but then loses it all two sec later...im guessong i gtta bleed the break lines???

Yupp you will have to bleed them now. Hopefully you know how to do this. All you do is start in the back farthest away from the master cylinder and work your way forward from farthest to closest. While doing this having someone in the car. Tell them to pump the brakes then tell them to hold it, when they hold it loosen the bleeder valve a little and let it come out then tighten it back up with them still holding it. Do this as many times as necessary and do the same with the rest.

or you can buy speed bleeder valves.....you can flush ur WHOLE break system in 5 mins ALONE.

Just let a little brake fluid out at a time (don't let the pedal get to the floor). If you let the pedal get all the way down then it may suck up dirt and debris from around the outlet and that ultimately leads to early failure.
