Because I love my 91 Civic and I currently have the old green Honda antifreeze and is due for a change. I probably wouldn't be able to unscrew the engine coolant bolt and will leave the green coolant in the engine. As you all know Honda carries the blue antifreeze now I was wondering if anyone would recommend other brands?

I'd just go with the OEM Honda like gearbox suggests. From what I've heard, other antifreezes can cause issues with the water pump seals, which is no bueno. If you're having an issue taking off that engine block bolt, might I suggest a breaker bar? I just recently changed my coolant and that BB made the job super easy. I have a 2000 Civic, but I'd assume that not much has changed with where that bolt is located at...

Thanks for the advice I ended up using the Prestone Long Life (yellow jug and green fluid) which are sillicate and borate free.
