change auto tranny fluid with ramps

will it make a diff if i put car up on ramps instead of jackstands?

not at all it should actually make it eaiser. just put the e-brake on. i also usually put some chalks or bricks behind the rear wheels just to be safe

ramps always scare me i either think i might drive over them or the car might fall down lol. they dont look very sturdy.

lol i just bought plastic rhino ramps from wal-mart there rated at 12,000 pounds so i feel safe being under the car and there extra wide and have a raised stop so you can't really drive off them.

thats why i am asking, the car is not 100% level when on ramp. have done oil for years with no problem, but never did tranny.

i always put jackstands under and block wheels, just dont get excited and forget a jackstand when you back down ramp, not that i would do something like that hint hint

the trans fluid bolt requires alot of force to break loose, i have to use a 2 ft long exhaust pipe on the end of the wrench otherwise it wont come off.
