How do I know when my auto tranny is going bad?

I only had a SRI, and i took it to honda, seeing as how i always go to them for my oil change, plus i was under warranty. Like just 1000 miles ago. And then everything checked out, and now im with a new tranny and lovin it

yeah, mine slips too from 2nd gear then revs high then goes to 3rd but only when engine is cold (when engine is warm, problem goes away)-doesnt happen during summer cuz engine heats up in a few minutes but i've also got around 237k on my o2 Lx
