fuel injector o-rings...

I know when you replace the injectors you should install them with new o-rings. You have to use a specific o-ring or can use an o-ring from an assortment pack that looks to be the same size?

Or anyone know what replacement o-rings I can use?

Please don't ask why I want or need to replace the injectors...

the top o-rings size is (7.47X3.6) and the bottom o-ring's size is (7.85X3.53) so if you can find o-rings of this size at an auto parts store they should work.

Yeah, go to an auto store, I would not use normal Buna or poly-ethylene rings. You need to make sure there is no flaking, use automotive rings, shouldn't be to costly.

And what about fuel rail?
The older civic's fuel rail can be used with these injectors?
Example: 00 civic EX, or an aftermarket for that model.

Yeah, that I'm not sure of, you need to find the part numbers for each, call Honda up and pretend you re going to buy the part and ask for the part number. Then call up a different dealer and ask for the part to the newwer car, if they are the same aprt number I would think so, but I'm guessing they are not.

slhonda.com

Here you can see the part number of every honda from about 1975 (at of america's honda models). And definitely not, they aren't the same fuel rail.

But I am asking that because I am thinking on buy an aftermarket (high performance) fuel rail for a 00 civic ex an install it on my 01 civic D17. A fuel rail for a 00 civic is common on the market, cheaper part, already for a return fuel system, and you can buy a used.

I am asking if the RSX (and D17 civic) injectors have the same "diameter" of the 00 civic or can be installed with other o-rings; and if you can use the RSX injectors with the D16Y8 intake manifold.

>>>I know the D16Y8 manifold need mods to fit on the D17 head. But what about injectors "holes".
