That sounds good Pearl, more the better. We really dont have many here either but we do keep up with the forums pretty often. Hot Import Nights sounds good to me, Did you get your tickets yet or are you picking them up at the door? Yeah I have your number AEM, I only passed through and didnt see your car. We were tired as fu*k and had been on the road all day so I didnt call. I should be around this weekend though so I might give you a call and meet up at sonic or something. Hey this dude from Crowley keeps telling me I need to go to the races. He has a black 6thGen civic with the same rims as me [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG] anyway he claims its just like FATF and takes place in Lafayette. LOL, It's no F&F, but sometimes people race.
It's kinda funny because alot of the time we'll just be chillin in the sonic parking lot, and two guys will line up at one end of the road that splits the parkinglot in half, and start draggin. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] It gets pretty crazy. My boy has a scanner, so one time we were all racin and we heard the cops say they were on their way to 2030 Johnston St. which is sonic. lol It was tight because he started yellin "Cops Cops" and everyone left and split up before the cops showed up to catch us. There's a few other places that we used to "race", but the cops are starting to watch us. It used to be kinda exciting, but not much has been going on lately because the cops are paranoid. Everytime we stop in a parking lot to chill, the cops come and tell us we gots ta go. I don't have my tickets to HIN yet, I'll probably get em at the door. And I doubt we'll sleep in N.O., I'll probably end up driving back to Lafayette after the show.

Yeah I saw one "race" at the Sonic a few weekends back when I went looking for you. Two people in some old crappy cars lined up and went at it. They got almost to the end of the lot and slammed on the brakes and cut the wheel. I had to laugh because they almost lost it. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] It would really suck to crash in a f**king parking lot acting the fool. This guy that Im talking about said that the races took place somewhere else though, congress maybe???? Anyway we will be getting tickets at the door too. Yeah we used to race down South College Extension, but that was until we rolled down the road and saw cops in the parking lots. haha It's very stupid to race in a parking lot, you either run into the building or skid into the road at the other end!! Everybody had pretty much chilled out lately, nobody does crazy sh!t anymore because we like to chill and talk with everyone. Two weekends ago, these two cars lined up and took off accross the parking lot. It was funny as hell because when they got about half way, a cop came flying out from behind a building in the back of the parking lot and busted both of em!!! lol
My aunt has an apartment in the French Quarter, but even though my car isn't all that, I don't feel comfortable parking my car in N.O. over night. [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] It's bad enuff I have to park it when I go into the Dome, and I'm poor, so if anything gets messed up or stolen, I don't have the money right now to fix it.

I have the Injen Race Division CAI. I think it's better than AEM only because it goes into the bumper. And because it's housed in the bumper, you have less chance of taking in water, and also power-robbing engine heat. The air in the bumper stays cooler than the air in the engine bay(of course) and it's almost impossible for enough water to splash into that part of the bumper and cause hydro lock. The only way you will ever have a chance of hydrolock is if you totally submerge your filter in water while giving it gas. If there is a puddle of water that is high enough to maybe touch the filter (not submerge it) you can idle through it and your car will die out before it sucks up enough water to mess up your engine. Now if the water is deep enough to submerge the filter, I recommend opening the hood and turning your CAI to where it points straight up in the air. This way it will act like a snorkel as you drive through the puddle/lake/whatever. Or you can do the smart thing and not go through it.[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] I don't think you will be disappointed with the Injen CAI.

Sweet, so I say we leave the "Designated Meeting Area" at about 3:00. That way we get there early enough to enjoy the show and still have time to make the drive home without falling asleep.[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG] Where is everyone coming from again? im takin my time and finding best prices, as much as i would LOVE to go faster, most if not all is for show just the way it is. I made eprodigys VII symbol and painted it gloss white, my ride EBP so it should show nicely....i hope. by the way, what r some ebtter blue bulbs then xenon? ive grown tired of them either shorting out or lasting like 2 mins before they r burnt out, lookin to get some better ones, u guys have any preferences?

Oh just for FYI reasons, there is a green eclipse here straight outta F&F and a nissan se-r?(that name of the car?) that looks like a$$, has the Knight decal off the Supra in F&F and it just looks retarded...i mean even without it the car LOOkS like butt!! As far as the caravan to HIN, I think we could all meet at the Whataburger at the University exit off of I-10.
If you're coming down I-49, when you get to I-10 go West and the next exit is the University Exit. The Whataburger is on University just North of I-10. We can meet at about 2:30 and head out to N.O. Tell me what ya think of that.
