Detroit axle review - followup on the tie rods

Hey everyone...as a followup to my previous post about the inner tie rods on my 2003 Honda Civic EX Coupe...I had both inner and outer tie rods replaced. They were replaced less than 2 years ago with poor quality parts from Detroit Axle...and they only wanted to send more junk parts to remedy the problem. I used Duralast this time and the noise is completely gone. When the Detroit Axle parts were installed less than 2 years ago the noise was there from the beginning. I also replaced both inner and outer tie rods...the outer which were also replaced 2 years ago were a disaster...I will hopefully be able to include photos here so you can see and please take heed...Detroit Axle parts are NOT GOOD QUALITY.

Thanks for the report, brand reviews aren't glamorous but I'm sure you just saved someone some heartache. +1 Detroit Axles aren't worth it

Yes! Not a glamorous review but totally necessary and totally true. The absolute junk the sold me? Detroit axle should be ashamed of themselves and their product. Since replacing the junk tie rods they sold me it's been trouble free and noise free.
